Shamashanga Camp is a self catering camp and accommodates up to 18 guests in 9 large, luxury East African style tents. The camp is situated near the old G-Camp site in the Sapi Safari Area. Each walk-in tent has a private en suite bathroom with shower and are furnished to a high standard with twin ¾ beds.
Again, there is a large main lodge housing the dining room, bar and lounge area. There is an outside open-fire-pit with fantastic views over the Zambezi perfect for pre-dinner sundowners and post dinner coffees. There is a small plunge pool situated off to the side, out of view of the main lounge and dining area.

Bookings made at Shamashanga will be sold in 6-night slots, (Sunday - Monday)

All National Parks fees must be paid by the client and provided to the manager at check
in for inspection by National Parks Sapi Station.
Shamashanga has the capacity for 18 guests (9 ensuite tents), each with their own unique view of the lower Zambezi River. Shamashanga is limited to a maximum of 5 boats operating out of the camp as per National Parks regulations.

The following boat services are provided:
2 pontoon boats are available for hire - $USD50.00 per day/dry. $USD2.00 per litre fuel (including oils)

Fishing equipment rented separately for self-catering
Prior notice must be given should you require boat hire
Max boat rental for the camp is 4
Deposit is 30%
Fuel available for purchase - $USD2.00 per litre
No security deposit, only on fishing equipment ($USD200 per group)
These are the costs associated:
$1300 per day for the camp
Zimbabwe tourism authority 2% levy
VAT - 14.5%
Cannot exceed 16 people
In order to hold bookings a 50% deposit must be paid
A security deposit of $500 will be required to cover all breakages etc and will be refundable after the clients stay
