Tafika
Tafika Zambezi is derived from the local Shona dialect Tasvika Zambezi, meaning ‘we have arrived on the Zambezi’.
Tafika Camp accommodates up to 12 guests in 6 luxury thatched lodges. Each chalet boasts comfortable twin beds, overhead fans and a stylish en-suite bathroom with shower, providing all the necessary comforts for your stay. Each lodge is carefully positioned so that from your private verandah you will have a magnificent view of the Zambezi and can enjoy watching the sun setting over River, and the Zambian hills beyond.
A short walk from each lodge along well-lit pathways is the main lodge incorporating the dining room, bar and lounge area. There is a large new beautiful decked patio with an open fire pit providing the perfect place for evening sundowners before a delicious evening meal. There is also a swimming pool providing welcome relief during the heat of the day and comfortable loungers to relax on whilst taking in the peace and beauty of the surroundings .
